12月5日和12月16日，“学习强国”平台分别以《“二十世纪‘中国美术南通现象’研究展”在国家画院展出》《“20世纪‘中国美术南通现象’研究展”登陆江苏省美术馆巡展》为题报道了我校主办的“20世纪‘中国美术南通现象’研究展”。

该项目是2019年度国家艺术基金传播交流项目，旨在以南通籍艺术家的创作实践为切入点，通过巡展的方式，用“千面沧海”“艺脉寻踪”“丹青代有”三大版块分别梳理南通美术现象的地域生态特征和文化价值、探究江海艺脉的根基和发展脉、追溯南通美术现象的传承与创新，是对20世纪南通美术现象全面总结、深度剖析和系统研究。

活动开展以来，人民日报客户端、光明日报客户端、文旅部客户端、新华网、央广网、中国新闻网、中国日报网、国家艺术基金官微、中国文化报、中国艺术报、中国美术报》国际在线、江苏卫视、交汇点等媒体进行了报道。
